MiddWorks for Vermont Summer 2026 - Middlebury Regional EMS Internship

Middlebury Regional EMS is a non-profit ambulance service that serves ten towns in Addison County with 911 coverage and interfacility transfers. We are seeking summer interns that are currently certified at the EMT level, consideration given to individuals currently enrolled in an EMT class with anticipated certification by the start date of the internship.

Interns will assist staff on all calls, taking vitals, completing patient assessments, and administering treatments. Working at MREMS requires reliability, collaboration, and problem-solving skills as well as empathy and compassion for patients. This internship is a great opportunity for direct patient-care experiences and development of clinical skills. No prior experience as an EMT is necessary. Following completion of the internship, students are eligible to apply for continued involvement with MREMS.
