Winter Term Warming Shelter Staff

Our intern(s) will be provided many learning opportunities within the Human Service arena, specifically around food and housing. First and foremost, this position will involve interaction with members of the greater Middlebury Community from all walks of life. The position will also include staffing our Winter Warming Shelters (Family and Individual), attending organization and community meetings to discuss the needs of the community and how best to address them, developing and implementing fundraising opportunities, working with the Charter House Club on campus to recruit and train Middlebury Students to staff the shelters. There will be opportunities for the candidate(s) to initiate special projects to further the learning experience and benefit the Community at Charter House.
