MiddKid Productions Intern - Summer 2026

Interns will observe and participate in the day-to-day operations of an active television production company, with one series (The Night Agent) scheduled to be in production and post-production in Los Angeles, another in post-production (American Hostage), and various other projects in different stages of development. 

Interns will have the opportunity to learn about every stage of the television development process, while also engaging in educational exercises like the creation of their own original TV pitches. 

This summer in particular will focus more heavily on the production side and editorial process of television making. There will also be opportunities to contribute ideas to the company’s website & marketing initiatives for various shows. 

Open to all majors and MiddKid Productions will hire 2-3 students. 

Application Materials

Please include a resume, cover letter, and a writing sample. Ideally a TV/film/short film/play script, but any writing sample will suffice.

The CCI Select Internship Program offers Middlebury students the opportunity to take part in impactful, hands-on internships across the U.S. and around the world. Each position is chosen for its strong mentorship, meaningful learning outcomes, and potential to help students explore career interests in a real-world setting.
 

  • Funding: Interns receive a $5,000 CCI award to support their summer experience.
  • Requirements: Your résumé must be CCI-approved to apply. Selected interns must participate in all cohort meetings and complete pre-internship forms, a post-internship evaluation, and a donor thank-you letter.
  • Eligibility: Open to returning Middlebury students. Seniors graduating in May 2026, students not enrolled in Spring or Fall 2026, and those planning to transfer are not eligible.
