Seeking current college student in a technical discipline for summer 2018 internship opportunity.
Below are some of the job duties which the new hire may encounter.
- Security engineering focus – Work with security-focused applications supporting customers’ and internal goals;
- Security engineering focus – Hands-on with Security Information Event Manager, HP ArcSight;
- Security engineering focus – Learn about the processes and procedures of a Managed Security Services Provider;
- Security engineering focus –Transfer theoretical engineering knowledge into real-world engineering projects;
- Information security analytics focus – Hands-on and formal training using latest security operations toolsets;
- Information security analytics focus – Interact with SOC personnel to gain understanding of MSSP operations
Education
1. Requires a High School Diploma.
2. Should be currently enrolled, full-time college student or have certifications showing accelerated achievements in the areas of networking, software programming, and information security
3. Prefer majors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Programming or Information Security
4. Some involvement with technical societies, campus technical jobs, and related associations is a plus
Qualifications
- 0-1 years of related experience supporting engineering, information technology or other technical operations.
- Technically inclined, willing to work, and patience is a highly sought-after quality in this field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret / SCI security clearance which carries a minimum requirement of U.S. citizenship
