Full Time Summer Internship

Position: Intern (full-time)
Location: Boston, New York, San Francisco
Start: May/June 2019
The Value Proposition:
For the successful candidate, we offer:
  • Valuable experience and exposure to investment banking;
  • An opportunity to assess whether the “career fit” is right for you;
  • Two day kick off training and then weekly training sessions;
  • Live deal experience;
  • Future references;
  • Hard-charging, professional culture;
  • Stipend of $2,000/month;
  • Hours: 8:30am-6:30pm with no weekend work
We are seeking candidates for our full-time investment banking internship program in our Boston headquarters, as well as our New York and San Francisco offices. The Internship program runs for 10 weeks. The hours of the internship are 8:30am to 6:30pm, Mondays through Fridays with no required overtime or weekend work.

Our approach differs from that of the bulge-bracket banks that have a 10-year plus wait-and-see track to Managing Director. At AGC you will appreciate the opportunity provided by our fast-track, merit-based path to a productive Partner franchise. Our most recent Partner was promoted after 4.5 years with AGC, after starting as a Project Manager after business school.
To help you get the most out of your internship, you will be teamed up with a member of our analyst team, who will serve as your mentor during your time here. You will work alongside your mentor on all of their live deals, pitches and other general work. Responsibilities will include assisting with conducting research assignments, preparing company profiles and information books, and producing marketing materials and pitch books, and marketing and business development efforts. As an Intern at AGC, our goal is to have you leave AGC at the end of the internship with the core skills of an analyst. We will be signing you up for Wall Street Prep training and sending some our standard practices and templates, so you can hit the ground running when you join us.
The candidate must have outstanding computer skills, including sophisticated Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. A desire to learn and deliver creative solutions is a must. A “can-do” attitude and a good sense of humor will ensure your success in the role. The candidate must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2019 or Spring 2020.
