Backend Development Internship

Job Description

 

In solving some of society’s greatest problems, your role is to craft beautiful, efficient, and optimized code (we love that kind of stuff).You will focus on the design, development, implementation, and troubleshooting of our back-end applications, and dive into data processing and database design. You will also develop new and innovative ways to build computing platforms, network technologies, automate and streamline daily tasks, and refine application code.
You will have the opportunity to work with up and coming technologies such as A.I. including machine learning and deep learning, use data serialization mechanisms such as Google Protocol Buffer, as well as contribute to the product development.

Responsibilities + Requirements


  • Responsibilities include:
  • Compile and analyze data processes, code to troubleshoot problems, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the experience.
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and React Native.
  • Required proficiency in Swift, Python.
  • Experience in Objective C preferred.
  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Time Commitment:
  • Work will take an estimated 20-40 hours a week.
