About our Data Science team
At the heart of the Faraday AI platform is a shared machine learning pipeline framework built from the ground up for consumer brands. Our data scientists work with clients and their Faraday account managers to carefully define one or more business goals for deployment on the platform. The pipeline uses these "outcome" definitions to perform ETL, training data formation, feature engineering, model building, validation, and scoring.
Your team is also responsible for curating the Faraday Identity Graph from upstream data sources, preparing interpretive analysis for clients, and nurturing Faraday’s quantitative culture.
About your role
We're looking for a curious, passionate, trustworthy data analyst to join us at Faraday. You will pursue a variety of challenges, including:
- Cooperate, teach, and learn together with the other 5 members of your DS (Data Science) team
- Interpret results for reporting to clients
- Perform retrospective analysis to evaluate model performance
- Prepare reports for clients
- Apply Faraday technology to produce a range of analyses for clients
You are a self-motivated individual who is disciplined, tenacious, and capable of keeping your eye on the finish line amidst competing priorities. You have good interpersonal abilities which you will employ daily with your team, including:
- Weekly team meetings
- Transparent project tracking using Trello
- Following security protocols to keep sensitive data safe
- Supporting account managers with data science queries
Your experience
- You have applied data science to the real world
Your technical background
This is optional but valuable:
- You are comfortable with Python, Ruby, Lisp, or Javascript
If you've done any of these things, please include samples:
- Data visualization (e.g. D3.js, Plotly, GIS)
- Open-ended data analysis for a client/project
