Clinical Research Coordinator II (Kidney Transplant Program)

The Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program of Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to join their team. The Clinical Research Coordinator II works independently providing study coordination including screening of potential patients for protocol eligibility, presenting non-medical trial concepts and details, and participating in the informed consent process. Responsible for oversight of all studies with the group and the assignment of studies to clinical research personnel within the group, and supervision of research staff. Plans and coordinates strategies of increasing patient enrollment, improving efficiency, training of personnel, and identifying new research opportunities. Ensures compliance with all federal and local agencies including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and local Institutional Review Board (IRB). Schedules and participates in monitoring and auditing activities. Communicates project status and improvement areas with leadership. Provides fiscal management for all studies. 

Educational Requirements: 
Bachelor's Degree required

License/Certification/Registration Requirements: 
Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or Society of Clinical Research Associate (SOCRA) certification preferred. 

Experience: 
Four (4) years minimum of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must demonstrate excellent communication, computer(excel, powerpoint, word), written, verbal, and organization skills 

Physical Demands: (e.g., lifting, standing, walking) 
Ability to physically perform duties as stated above including sitting, standing, bending, walking.
