Sr. Event Coordinator will report to Manager of Special Events and will execute select events as assigned by Manager. Sr. Event Coordinator's primary responsibility is to provide support on all event activities, as assigned by Manager. Upon event assigning, position will work independently to execute the event, in alignment with brand standards, and with minimal direct supervision. Position will function as the lead support group. donor, and honoree liaison contact, managing all communication with these partners. Position will lead committee and stakeholder intake meetings with front-line development officers, will monitor Meet, timelines, manage printed collateral fulfillment, and execute and/or oversee check processing. Position will input and track event gifts in Raiser's Edge (and Excel when applicable), will follow-up with gift admin, and will fulfill tax receipting. Position will act as production liaison, working autonomously with production partners and a/v vendors on events. Position will additionally lead MA11. YED students, and volunteers on select events. Sr. Event Coordinator must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills to work closely with medical and community leadership, and front-line development officers. 

Experience: 
5 years of work-related experience, with two 2 year's work experience specifically in special events. 
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
-Ability to work efficiently on an individual and group basis. 
-Knowledge of computers and word processing. 
-Knowledge of types of event gifts. 
-Computer skills; experience with database management, word-processing and other electronic mews of communication and data management. Computer proficiency in Raisers Edge 7, Microsoft Power Point, Word. Excel. 

Physical Demands: (e.g., lifting, standing, walking)
Job requires walking, standing and sitting, Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Educational Requirements: 
-Bachelor's degree in a related field; a combination of work and education is acceptable
