PFS Quality Review & Trainer

Execute PFS Quality Review program within assigned area of PFS - under limited supervision and guidelines and within CSHS policies and procedures. Develop and track departmental Quality Review (QR) indicators and report findings. Perform independent Quality Reviews of individual performance as needed to supplement supervisory reviews. Analyze findings to identify and offer solutions for new and innovative ways to improve processes within the department. Assess training needs. develop training program and deliver training. Standardize, publish and maintain PFS policies, procedures, and job aids. Respond to regulatory and contractual changes impacting the practices of the department and ensure prompt communication and implementation of appropriate procedures. When certified for Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Administrator, participate in build and maintenance of training patients in training environment. Keep CS-Link Hospital Billing course materials current with CS-Link upgrades and modifications.
 
Experience: 
Training / coaching experience required, including knowledge of adult learning theory, and training curriculum development and delivery. Demonstrated proficiency in CS-Link Hospital Billing application - strongly preferred. Proficient in flow charting and project management - strongly preferred. Excellent presentation, organization and analysis skills. Excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills - required. Good interpersonal skills, high motivation and ability to maintain courteous and professional working relationships across all levels. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with short time-lines, prioritize and organize work, and complete assignments in a timely, accurate manner. Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems taking decisive action in a timely manner. Previous supervisory experience - helpful.
 
Physical Demands: (e.g., lifting, standing, walking)
Manual dexterity, bending, stooping, prolonged standing and sitting, lifting up to 25 lbs to perform general office duties. Able to successfully manage difficult interactions with others.

Educational Requirements:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent related work experience - strongly preferred. High level of working knowledge and expertise relating to hospital billing and collections / customer service / revenue cycle performance, typically gained through three or more years experience. Knowledge of Data Quality theory and principles.
