Health System Manager - Finance (FPA)

Manager FPA (Capital Planning) is responsible for the implementation and on-going maintenance of the Axiom Capital Planning and Tracking tool as well as the daily management of the Cedars-Sinai's capital resources. The Capital Planning team develops policies regarding the equity capital requirements, capital structure and promotes the optimal use of the capital funds, while ensuring compliance with Cedars-Sinai's requirements. The team provides strategic analysis and guidance around issues and transactions with capital implications and co-ordinates current and future capital planning.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
-Performs Strategic Capital Analysis and Financial Analysis
-Produce presentations for Senior Management and Executive team
-Coordinate with various teams across the health system including Finance, EIS (Enterprise Information System) and FPDC (Facilities Planning, Design and Construction) as well as MDRH (Marina Del Rey Hospital) and MDN (Medical Delivery Network) to source inputs for a consolidated financial analysis.
-Create documentation for Cedars-Sinai's capital plan submissions
-Support Capital Planning and process enhancements, internal controls, and governance initiatives through on-going review and challenging the status quo
 
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years management experience in a healthcare financial setting
Educational Requirements:
Educational Requirements.
Baccalaureate degree. Graduate Degree. MBA, MS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or a comparable level of education or experience, preferably in a hospital environment.
-Strong analytic, writing and presentation skills including the ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity
-Excellent communication, interpersonal and client service skills
-Adept at working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
-Proven track record of great teamwork and ability to work across organization boundaries
-Ability to work on multiple projects under a compressed timeline
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel, high degree of technical proficiency (e.g. MS Office ) and the ability to learn quickly
-Preferred skills in KH's Axiom Financial Planning products
