Business Analysis Intern

This is an eight-week internship at Lu.com (www.lu.com)an online Internet finance company headquartered in Lujiazui, Shanghai. Lu.com is the second largest FinTech company in China.

As the Business Analysis intern, you will gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations. You will perform statistical analysis to enhance project reports and will be involved in other special project analysis work.  You will work closely with the product manager, who are the designers of the key products. You will receive frequent coaching and mentoring throughout the internship as you gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring with you.

Qualifications:
  • Good computer skills and strong data analysis
  • Ability to think creatively and carry out a project successfully from start to finish
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytics
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Proficient in Excel, PPT, Access, SQL
  • Completed sophomore year of undergraduate studies
  • Finance or related major preferred
  • An understanding of financial-technology (or fintech) and the desire to learn and grow
  • Proficient in Mandarin

Compensation:  This internship is donor-funded by the Middlebury Asia Council with a CCI award of $4,000.00
