Museum Exhibit Explainer

The Montshire is recruiting 4-5 individuals to spend the summer teaching science in a hands-on, interactive, and exploratory environment. The museum has exhibits on everything from air pressure to ants – fossils to fog.
 
Dates: Mid-June through late August, 8:30 am–5:15 pm, 25-37 hrs/week including every other weekend.
 
Pay rates: $12.50-13/hour depending on experience
 
Location: Montshire Museum of Science, Norwich, VT.
 
Qualifications: Completed one year of college, preferably with major in education or a STEM-related field. Strong communication skills.
 
Duties: Work in our exhibit halls and outdoor spaces leading a variety of hands-on science and engineering activities and investigations, provide informal science education experiences, offer a high level of customer service, and maintain indoor and outdoor exhibits.
