Together, with our 74,000+ employees, we strive to serve others – before they get sick and during their illness. Our passion is helping people live healthier, more fulfilling lives. With preventative care, innovative technology, and industry-leading quality, we’re proud to fulfill our mission of making the world a healthier place. What difference will you make?

Cigna’s Managed Care Rotational Program (MCRP) is a 2-year leadership development program designed to provide associates with a well-rounded and in-depth understanding of Cigna’s Government business, to develop their leadership skills and overall business acumen, and to prepare them for an accelerated career path within Cigna.
As an MCRP associate, you will complete three or four rotations (ranging from 6 to 8 months in length) during the two years of the program. These rotations will give you exposure to different business areas and gives the opportunity to lead and support key initiatives. In addition to these rotational experiences, the program will provide you with professional development, leadership experiences, career coaching, networking/mentorship, exposure to senior leaders, and a supportive community. The MCRP allows associates to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment, with a variety of career paths for associates following the program.

About Managed Care
Cigna Medicare and Medicaid focuses on “managed care”. This means that we work hard to keep our customers healthy (managing their care). Rather than keeping costs down by rejecting claims or reducing access to care, we provide value to our customers by engaging them in preventative care programs and on-going wellness initiatives. This is one of the reasons that Cigna has maintained the lowest medical cost trend in the industry over the past several years. Cigna's Government business unit is home to our more heavily-regulated and government-backed businesses. These businesses include Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Pharmacy, Cigna Medical Group, Individual & Family Plans, Supplemental Benefits, and CareAllies (our provider-facing consulting firm.) As an MCRP Associate, you have the opportunity to work in any of these businesses.
