Business Analyst (Train to Hire)

The Cognizant Digital Business Analyst Certificate Program is a unique train-to-hire program that prepares students for in-demand careers in consulting. The program is targeted toward early-career working professionals with 2-5 years of experience who are looking to make a career change into a high growth industry with exciting career prospects. Business Analyst Role and Responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst, you play an important role with responsibilities that range from analyzing client's issues/objectives to developing recommendations and authoring presentations. You will participate in both strategic advisory and transformation projects.
Responsibilities include:
  • Conduct Business Analysis; including interview clients, gather and document client requirements, map processes, conduct hypotheses based analysis, create business cases, evaluate and present solutions.
  • Support the documentation of systems requirements specification in coordination with technical team and perform high level testing of business and functional requirements.
  • Deliver outstanding client results, direct client personnel, prepare work plans, and facilitate client teams to implement recommendations.
  • Draw conclusions from the market /industry trends, client issues and support, go-to-market initiatives for Cognizant Support business development activities in the form of identifying scope for phase 2 and assisting in writing proposals for RFPs. Proactively support team building and on-boarding efforts via mentoring. Help strengthen client's confidence in Cognizant and continuously enhance the relationship between Cognizant and the client.
