Overview

Will perform a variety of tasks following established techniques and procedures. Perform experimental procedures and surgeries, tissue processing, perform histochemical stainings, imaging and analysis, animal and behavioral testing. Will be responsible for preparation and maintenance of the equipment, ordering supplies and animals. Works with a variety of animal species and tasks will involve both in-vivo and in-vitro procedures.
 
Documents laboratory work to acceptable standards and maintains laboratory/medical equipment and supplies in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline or with comparable course work and 1-3 years of directly-related research experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.


Salary

Salary is commensurate with experience.
