Registered Dietitian / Clinical Nutritionist - Outpatient - Lactation Consultant

Bring your Lactation Consultant experience to an organization that has contributed substantially to the study of nutrition and it's relationship to various diseases. In this role as a Registered Dietitian / IBCLC, you will provide individualized medical nutrition therapy and breastfeeding support for diverse perinatal and pediatric populations in the outpatient setting. This opportunity enables the advantages of an outstanding breastfeeding consultant working closely with inter-professional providers, in a state-of-the-art program, delivering exceptional experiences for patients and families.
This is a full time outpatient position.
Preferred Criteria
- Master’s Degree
- Outpatient nutrition experience
- Bilingual English / Spanish
Required Criteria
- Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
- Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
- NYS certification (CDN)
- International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nutrition experience
- Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, patient counseling skills
