Opportunity Overview
Birdi is interested in obtaining services from a person with expertise in XSLT Report Development to assist with the implementation of a Records Management System (RMS).
The RMS project is intended to transform business, particularly in how the department collects, stores and uses information. A comprehensive modem RMS will enable key capabilities throughout the Department including effective shared information among the different organization's operational units, process efficiencies, reduction of redundant and manual processes and improved analytics. Birdi is looking to hire a highly experienced Report Developer to develop core output reports to maintain the targeted Project schedule and ensure continuity of existing services within this new application are maintained.
The Duties to be performed by the Report Developer will be:
Responsibilities will include developing Core output reports pertaining to the organization's Records Management. Duties may include building forms which includes building of Data window definitions, XML “ini” generators and form templates. Building output reports which includes generation of XSLT output reports, loading and modification of existing Output Reports, using the NicheRMS Output Report editor.
The candidate will work in a mission critical to public safety environment supporting both civilians and sworn staff. The position will provide report development expertise and coordination with technical support staff assigned to the organization's record management related information technology projects to ensure appropriate steps are taken for successful integration and implementation.
Required Skillsets:
The RMS report developer must have extensive experience designing and developing XSLT Output reports. Additionally, candidates with a strong working knowledge of public safety information technology systems are highly desired.
· Good knowledge of XML
· Good knowledge of XSL/XSLT
· Good knowledge of HTML/XHTML, including CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
· Knowledge of XAML
· Understanding of SQL
· Understanding of NicheRMS application and data model
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
