Role Description:
The Managed Care Strategy & Analytics Associate will play a critical role in leveraging analytics and strategic thinking to accelerate the growth of Oak Street Health’s managed care membership. This is an opportunity to partner across the organization to identify data-backed solutions to key pain points, as well as develop and help implement creative initiatives that will drive OSH’s rapid growth. This position will join a team of Associates / Senior Associates and will report to the Manager of Growth Effectiveness, and ultimately to the VP of Growth Effectiveness (former BCG Principal).
Core Responsibilities:
  • Perform analytics to inform decision-making across the Growth organization
  • Contribute and help to drive forward (under the direction of Manager) key growth-focused initiatives
  • Develop and maintain monthly reporting, driving insights and action items to improve performance
  • Collaborate with other team members, as well as field team members to drive initiatives forward
  • Develop materials and lead discussions with relevant organizational leaders
  • Other strategic / analytical priorities, as determined by VP of Growth Effectiveness
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a motivated young professional with:
  •  Bachelor’s degree completed by Spring 2020, preferably with a quantitative major (e.g., Business, STEM, economics, statistics); may also consider more tenured candidates with appropriate experience
  • Analytical and strategic thinker who is intellectually curious
  • Interest, experience, and/or passion for healthcare and value-based care
  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint; experience with Alteryx, SQL or other programming languages a plus
  • Effective and flexible team player with demonstrated success in a fast-paced “start-up” environment  
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and experience leveraging data / analytics to solve problems
  • Proven innovative problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence decision-making at many levels of leadership
  • US work authorization
