Over the past decade, Karbone has successfully helped its clients secure long-term revenue contracts, funding sources, and key analytical information to help them achieve their investment and trading goals
The Capital Markets / M&A division is currently seeking an Investment Banking Analyst (Renewable Energy) Intern.

Responsibilities
Support deal team on sell-side, buy-side and capital raising transactions for solar and wind projects
Assist with the construction and management of complex financial models (focus on project finance models and tax equity structuring)
Review various project data rooms with a focus on the analysis of financial and commercial materials
Conduct financial analysis, due diligence and industry research
Assist with drafting pitch books and presenting market data to prospective clients 
Carry out ad-hoc deal specific research and assignments 

How you will develop
Junior and senior mentors will support your development and track your progress throughout the summer
By the end of the internship you will have a tremendous understanding of the renewable energy industry as well as solid financial modeling skills
If you perform well during the summer internship and meet our hiring criteria, there is potential for a full-time role 

Qualifications
Demonstrated interest in the renewable energy sector
Previous internship in the financial services or energy / renewable energy sectors preferred
We welcome applicants from all educational backgrounds, so long as they have a keen interest in finance
Accounting course required; advanced accounting course and corporate finance courses preferred
Superior mathematical / problem solving abilities
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a challenging environment and meeting demanding deadlines
