We are seeking a full time Investment Analyst to join our investment office. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the firm through performing tasks including financial modeling, trading and rebalancing client portfolios, conducting economic analysis, and other client specific projects. Analyst responsibilities will primarily be to support the investment team in researching investment views and specific client assignments. Seven Post offers a competitive compensation package and full benefits, the selected candidate’s job title and compensation will be commensurate with relevant work experience.

Responsibilities:

▪ Construct financial models to adequately assess investment opportunities

▪ Compile overviews of potential equity, fixed income, or alternative investment managers

▪ Assist with performing due diligence on potential investment ideas across asset classes

▪ Create client reviews, economic and market updates

▪ Implement, monitor and trade client portfolios

▪ Process and reconcile daily trading related transactions and ad hoc requests

▪ Serve as key liaison in other areas supporting the firm’s clients, including operations, performance and compliance

Qualifications:

▪ Minimum 1 year of work experience. Experience in financial services, investment management, or investment consulting is preferred but not a prerequisite

▪ Working understanding of the financial markets and demonstrated interest in investing

▪ High degree of individual initiative with a sense of urgency

▪ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly

▪ Ability to present well organized ideas with concrete data

▪ Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, FactSet, Bloomberg, and other similar data analytics tools

▪ Strong organizational skills with detail orientation

▪ Team player – demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a professional environment
