"On Deck" Development Program 2021
A few things you should know…
- Business hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a daily 1 hour unpaid lunch break
- Employees in the On-Deck Program are full-time team members
- This program is 20-months long with an opportunity for permanent placement after completion of the program. Please note that there is no guarantee that you will be placed following completion of the program.
- We typically have 4 openings each year
- With a growing number of applicants each year, when applying please make sure to attach your resume plus any additional information you’d want to share, including; portfolios, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, link to your blog, or any other relevant projects to show your passion.

Overview:
We are looking for a diverse set of elite candidates with strong academic records and varied extra curricular interests who want to grow into future leaders. People with a wide-range of interests and a passion for the vineyard vines brand and lifestyle are encouraged to pursue this opportunity.
The On-Deck team members will have the opportunity to participate in a unique program that is focused on providing hands on experience across different departments and one of our retail locations. Participants will engage in interactive workshops with vineyard vines leaders, and gain an interdisciplinary perspective on the operations of the vineyard vines organization. They will develop communication and presentation skills, learn conflict resolution and collaboration skills, and strengthen their creative problem solving abilities. This program will drive opportunities for self-discovery and understanding while sticking to the vineyard vines core belief that a fun workplace inspires success.
Program graduates will be equipped to take on a variety of different roles at vineyard vines. These graduates will be positioned to move up within the company and will have gained valuable professional experience.
In addition, our requirements are:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Passion for the vineyard vines brand and lifestyle
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and Open-Mindness
- Ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
