Job Description

This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate to gain substantive, hands-on experience in the dynamic fields of complex civil and criminal financial litigation. Analysts immediately join case teams and closely collaboration with the firm’s lawyers, enjoying levels of responsibility and client contact surpassing what other firms offer. Analysts also support knowledge management, global business development and strategic collaboration to drive the firm’s practice forward.

General duties include factual and financial analysis, legal research, preparation of court papers, document review and analysis, overseeing workflow to litigation assistants, and client meeting and court appearance attendance under lawyer supervision.

Kobre & Kim is accepting applications for positions based in all of our offices. All analysts have opportunities for advancement after their first year, including transitioning to business development-focused roles and/or transfer to other offices worldwide. Compensation is highly competitive with top-tier consulting firms.

Job Qualifications

Analysts are typically top-ranked graduates from prestigious colleges and universities. Candidates should possess a four-year college degree; a strong GPA; and excellent writing, research, teamwork and communication skills. We strongly encourage applications from self-confident, highly motivated individuals who display a broad range of academic and extracurricular interests. Interest in exploring financial markets and pursuing a career in law is welcomed but not necessary. Language skills — particularly Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and German — are a plus. Analysts are expected to remain with the firm for at least two years.
