About Breakthrough Collaborative

As a pioneer in education reform, Breakthrough is more than an organization. We are a nationwide movement, tackling the opportunity gap through our innovative summer and school-year programs. At Breakthrough, we partner with middle-and high school students from under-resourced communities to realize their incredible potential and put them on the path to college. We are also the largest pre-service teacher training program in the country, providing a best-in-class experience for more than 1,000 undergraduate Teaching Fellows every year. Together, we are working to increase academic opportunity for students and to inspire the next generation of educators. Since the founding of our movement over 40 years ago, we have served more than 40,000 students and teachers.
