About Dow Jones News Fund

The Dow Jones News Fund selects approx. 100 college students every year to participate in its summer internship program. If selected, students are matched with a newsroom for a paid summer internship and attend a weeklong pre-internship training program. Interns will attend training and work in one of five areas: audience engagement, business reporting, data journalism, digital media and multiplatform editing.

In nearly six decades DJNF has prepared thousands of journalists who have gone on to become industry leaders who are redefining the culture of major newsrooms. We are looking forward to connecting with students for our summer internship program.

“The Dow Jones News Fund summer internship program has truly prepared me to enter the world of professional journalism. The program's dedication to training students in business reporting and exposing program interns to industry professionals before placing them to intern at business publications for the summer is a unique opportunity only found at the Dow Jones News Fund. ”
