About Eagle's Nest Foundation

Eagle’s Nest Camp is a coed camp over 90 years old, located in the lush mountains of Western North Carolina. Eagle’s Nest Camp provides a joyful, nurturing community where campers finishing kindergarten - 11th grade are treated with respect and compassion. Campers have the opportunity to participate in 1-3 week long sessions which emphasize nature, arts, and community living.

“I feel that I learned more this summer than I have in three years of school. Eagle’s Nest helped me through a lot of challenges that forced me to think critically and I am so thankful for that. This summer I felt like a real professional within the industry. Your training and confidence in my ability helped me feel that way. I also felt very valued at camp, and I felt like my opinions were heard. I truly appreciate that camp is a positive and loving environment.” ~Former Staff Member

Our mission is experiential education for young people, promoting the natural world and the betterment of human character.
