I loved the environment. Everyone was very accepting and positive. Working with the kids was also amazing and so rewarding.

It may seem daunting, but take the risk! It is so inspirational and rewarding.

What I liked
It was an incredible experience. The camp is for kids with serious illnesses, but the environment is rarely- if ever - heavy. The camp is full of people who are dedicated, down-to-earth, community-driven, incredibly selfless, and, above all else, kind. You walk back into Wellesley incredibly fulfilled, albeit exhausted.

Advice
Go for the right reasons. If you go for personal development or a resume-boost, you'll get an abridged, lackluster picture of the most incredible place you could imagine. There's a lot that's expected of you, the summer is tiring, and you're very underpaid, but if none of that matters to you, you'll probably fit right in.
