I loved being able to help with programming for kids and working on a orientation that had a purpose to shape teens into better leaders and mentors to younger and aspiring leaders.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time to see the preparation I had done come to fruition- as I had to go back to school and could not see it all through.
Advice
I absolutely loved my experience and I think it is of great value for college students to have an unpaid internship opportunity, and understand the value and experiences of non profit organization.
